"I've been coming to Jilberto's for more than 10 years!!! They always make the best carne asada burritos and best carne asada fries!! We don't go anywhere else and they are always so nice!!"

"Nice big serving size on the carne asada fries. Good quality meat and the fries were crispy underneath. Authentic queso fresco sprinkled on top. Sour cream and guacamole was super fresh. Very reasonably priced."

"The chicken in the burrito tasted weird and had too many pieces with unpleasant texture. The salsa and veggie bar is great and while chips cost extra, at least they're freshly made and hot. Went back to try a breakfast burrito and it was fantastic! Fully loaded and delicious. And the have a very good salsa and toppings bar--one of the few in Escondido."

"One of my favorite Mexican spots in Esco. Last time I ordered a plate of fries (big enough for like three people!!)a fish burrito, and a medium tamarindo. The tamarindo was really fresh not too sweet. My food was done like 6 minutes after I ordered. Everything tasted incredible like it always does. I truly enjoyed the creamy Chipotle Salsa with my fish burrito."

"Excellent taco shop. I had chorizo and scrambled eggs, it came with rice and beans everything is fresh and seasoned perfectly. The Rolled Tacos were amazing!"
